Today I’m thinking out loud about my current fitness must haves. I’m linking up with Amanda to talk about whatever and today fitness-y things are it.
This little baby has seriously changed my feelings about work. I struggle to sit at a desk. I’m a mover. I like to bend and walk and run and move all day long. So siting was making me feel like a huge bump on a log. That was until I got my desk cycle. Now I can bang out 10-20 miles in no time and with a light pace I don’t even sweat in my chilly office. I feel at least a bit more active on the days I use it. I did a complete review of the desk cycle, when I first got it.
I’ve wanted these capris’ for at least a year (ok maybe not that long but close) still I love them and just need to bite the bullet and buy them. How cute are they? These are from the Chaturanga cut which makes them the perfect addition to my yoga pant collection, although I totally think with a cute denim & white tank top with high black boots this is a fall outfit waiting to happen. If they double as street clothes that means I HAVE to buy them right?
I just got these and am in love with them. A great neutral light running shoe. I’m still rocking my 5’s as well but these have made a few running debuts. Plus the colors of this shoe are great and so much different from the other Kinvaras I have. Here’s to lots of miles in them and looking fashion forward while doing it.
I cringed a little when I plunged into the purchase of my first Manduka mat. But almost a year later I will tell you it was one the best investments I’ve made into my yoga practice. This mat has weathered every storm. Sure I’ve taken a bit better care of it than I do my cheap ones but it’s the most durable and comfortable mat I’ve ever owned. Speaking of taking care of your yoga mat, Fitfluenital posted a piece on yoga mat care, I’ll be posting one soon as well since I was a newbie to it.
Again another great product that I’m using almost daily in my workouts. Who can fumble with two hands to drink water in spin class…I’m uncoordianted enough let’s not complicate things. This bottle is sleek and offers one hand drinking for all of us who are less than skilled while biking/running/walking/sweating. They come in tons of colors and options. I like my blue and white bottle and am always getting compliments on it at the gym. That’s mt new gauge for cool…how many people jump off a treadmill to ask me about it 😉
So these are my current fitness obsessions, of course I’m always digging my Bosu too, I’ve got another new workout coming your way early next week with it.
Question of the Day: What are you digging this fall for workout gear?
